Hey guys what ranking on the ordinal scale do you think Kirito will have? It’s been revealed that Eijin, the current top player, is #2, but also that Kirito hasn’t even started playing until a bit into the movie. As in, there is a #1 spot open. Unclaimed. And as we’ve seen before, Kirito’s entire gig is that he’s the Top Player and The Best and all that gary-stu-esque stuff that I actually love and feed off of it’s great

BUT: what would be amazing would be seeing Kirito get the lowest spot in the entire game then like rise up even as he’s number 4,234,678,223 or whatever shit and eventually gain the top spot, even if his ranking is the lowest? would that be sick or what I have so many theories please share your thoughts! ?

From what I’ve seen from trailers it seems kirito isn’t as good at the game because it’s augmented reality and he’s an out of shape gamer.

Now that might change but kirito doesn’t always start insanely strong. He had to work himself all the way up in Alicization.
