(Ask) What kind of headcannons do you think about in terms of the gang's futures?

They’re mostly pretty vanilla but here you go:

Sinon still struggles with PTSD but being friends with the gang (people who understand and relate to her problems as survivors themselves) really helps. She still visits Shinkawa on detainment occasionally. She’s conflicted about whether she truly forgives him or not, but she feels indebted to him in a weird way. She wants to help him like he did she back when he still seemed like a good person. She believes that maybe he still is.

Kirito and Asuna get married and have a child that looks quite similar like Yui. It’s always kind of weird for them to explain they’re not really “an only child” since they still count Yui as a sibling. Kirito would most likely be the sort of person that’d have to time himself not to work too much in his programming, whereas Asuna would always try to lighten her workload so she has more time to spend with her family (she had really emotionally distant parents, and she would never want her children to bear the same fate). They adopt a black dog and a white cat. They chose those colors on purpose because they’re dorks.

Lisbeth realizes that her crush on Kirito and her jealousy of his relationship with Asuna was her projecting her feelings for Asuna on him because she was in denial over her sexuality. Sinon helps her realize that and she’s, like, super gay. She explains that to them and they have a good laugh. They’re still the best of friends. Lis and Sinon start dating about 6-12 months after the events of Alicization. She studies civil engineering while Sinon works as a police officer. Sinon has to constantly stop Lis from feeding her police Akita human food because that makes him sick.

Silica starts studying to become a psychologist. She’s always been really empathic and seemed to try to comfort people almost instinctively, and a teacher advised her to follow that path. She focuses her research on the effects of companion animals in dealing with mental illness, and advises everyone in the gang to get a pet. She also loves animals and being able to know there’ll be a dog or cat regardless of whose house they’re meeting that week is always a plus for her. That was part of her plan all along. She never marries or anything and she is actually Pretty Cool with it.

I figure Klein eventually manages to get himself a boyfriend or girlfriend (probably someone he met in ALO, Siune from the Sleeping Knights, maybe?) and settles down. Agil’s life is more or less the same, really. They’re kind of older brother/uncle figures to most of the gang, and them growing really helps make hanging out with them so often feels a bit less awkward to explain to other people. They’re mostly just really happy they get to legally know the types of drunk each of them are. They make bets on it, probably.
