Ok as someone who hasn’t ever read Sword Art Online Alternative (just the main series and Progressive) could anyone tell me if there’s actually plot to this? I watched episode one and was kind of like….okay…
Like is there something I’m missing not having read it?
The first episode is actually from the middle of the first novel. It basically skips all the character introduction and backstory just to go straight to the action. Hopefully they’ll cover that in the next episode.
As for some deeper plot not connected to the reasons they’re playing the game I’m not sure because I haven’t read that far.
