Kirito with Dark Side of the Force Incarnation Eyes when he is in Sith Lord Total Serious mode.

I wonder who suggested this idea of gold/yellow eyes for Kirito when he’s totally serious for the anime adaptation?

I hope we get to see these Dark Side of the Force Incarnation Eyes again in Sword Art Online -Alicization-

I sincerely hope not. The yellow eyes made perfect sense in the first case because he was surpassing the system at the expense of great pain to himself. He’s not doing that in any of the other instances. And he doesn’t have yellow eyes in the anime the other time he surpasses the system in season one.

That he has yellow eyes when he’s fighting super hard seems to be what the anime is going for though since they’ve included it even in ordinal scale seemingly. But it has no real bearing on canon.
