They never get into it (I mean breasts specifically, and why would they), but they look about the same to me.

Talking about it from how avatars and real life bodies work in general though: I don’t think avatars need to have the same physical attributes as the gamers’ bodies in VRMMOs, it’s just that most people we see in the anime either use transferred accounts, choose to craft characters that are similar to their real selves, or the game just magically spits one out that happens to be similar to their body types. It’s even mentioned in the novels Sinon got mad that she got a rare feminine avatar because she wanted to be a cool tall beefcake soldier
