Episode 25 of SAO season 1. Lizbeth and Silica are watching kirito and Asuna from the cafeteria. Lizbeth says that she doesn’t like Asuna being all over him. Then either she or Silica says something about letting them have their romance for a bit and then the truce was over. Can some one explain this or did I hear wrong.
In the novels Liz promises that when they returned to the real world, “round 2″ would begin, referring to her pursuit of him. She and silica even form an alliance for that purpose. They agree to give kirito and Asuna one month to be together first.
Liz however cannot bring herself to see Asuna as a rival, and instead sees her more as a little sister in need of protecting. Which is why you see her annoyed when kirito and asuna are engaging in PDA. She’s loyal to Asuna and even helps their relationship on occasion, but still has those feelings from Aincrad, but will never act on them.
